GOP Guide

The GOP could open a haberdashery with all the  hats thrown into the ring for the 2016 presidential nomination. It looks pretty much the same as the last go-round, minus Mitt Romney and Ron Paul, but plus Rand Paul and Jeb Bush. The list is still in flux, but these are the folks who are most likely to entertain us all summer with their traveling vaudeville debate theater. The reviews for the last troup were boffo. They brought down the house in every city. So what if that house was in foreclosure? Since there are so many candidates with such wonderful things to say, I thought a guide to the Republican presidential candidates might be useful for the still confused. That is, if Obama doesn't rip up the Constitution, declare martial law, and run for a third term. So without further delay, the prospective contenders for the office of president are:

Ted Cruz- Texas Senator and morality crusader
Philosophy- Whatever Joe McCarthy said.
Famous Quote- "I intend to speak in support of defunding Obamacare until I am no longer able to stand." Spoken before an empty chamber recitation of Green Eggs and Ham.

Rand Paul- Senator from Kentucky
Philosophy- Neo-Libertarian. "I read all of Ayn Rand's novels when I was seventeen."
Famous Quote- "A free society will abide unofficial, private discrimination even when that means allowing hate-filled groups to exclude people based on the color of their skin."

Ben Carson- Neurosurgeon and Narcissist.
Philosophy- I'm the Bizarro Obama.
Famous Quote- "Obamacare is the worst thing that has happened in this nation since slavery."

Jeb Bush-  Former Florida Governor
Philosophy- Please don't blame me for my idiot brother torching the globe.
Famous Quote- "Immigrants are more fertile, and they love families."

Rick Perry- Texas Governor
Philosophy- I got glasses this time to make me look smarter.
Famous Quote- "Oops."

Chris Christie- New Jersey Governor and bridge builder
Philosophy- Sit down and shut up.
Famous Quote- "Sit down and shut up."

Scott Walker- Wisconsin Governor and union buster
Philosophy- Whatever the Koch brothers tell me.
Famous Quote- "Let 'em protest all they want. Sooner or later the media stops finding it interesting."

Marco Rubio- Florida Senator and pitchman for Aquafina.
Philosophy- I'm really running for vice-president.
Famous Quote- "I do not believe that human activity is causing these dramatic changes to our climate the way these scientists are portraying it."

Carly Fiorina- Former CEO of Hewlett-Packard
Philosophy- Just because I drove HP into the ground doesn't mean I can't be president.
Famous Quote- "If Hillary had to face me on the debate stage, at the very least she would have a hitch in her swing." I don't know what it means either.

Mike Huckabee- Former Arkansas Governor and future pitchman for reverse-loan mortgages.
Philosophy- Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal savior?
Famous Quote- "Democrats want to insult the women of America by making them believe that they are helpless without Uncle Sugar coming in and providing for them a prescription."

I suppose you could call the rest fringe candidates since their views are so radical. Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal said that the GOP "must stop being the stupid party." Anti-sex advocate Rick Santorum said, "Contraception is not OK. It's a license to do things in a sexual realm that is counter to how things are supposed to be." These are all worthy topics for future hilarious debates, but for the most eloquent statement of qualifications, you have to give it up to grifter and perennial candidate Donald Trump who said, "The only difference between me and the other candidates is that I'm more honest and my women are more beautiful." In this tabloid culture, what more could you want in a president?

  2. What I am about to say goes way back. About 10 years ago I was listening to your WEVL radio show called Psychedelicatessen when you had your meltdown in regard to George Bush. At the time I was apolitical and thought that you had lost your marbles. But, thanks to you, I began delving into a lot of areas of study in an attempt to find out where you were coming from. As a result of my studies you may be pleased to know that I now agree with you in regard to Dubya and Cheney. You were also right about the Viet Nam War and Desert Storm. But, I don't believe that you know the whole truth of the matter. The real global culprit is a network of the obscenely wealthy that collectively are referred to by names such as the Oligarchy, the Elite, the Global Money Power, etc. Big money has always pulled the political strings throughout world history. Big money manipulates all world governments, which in turn manipulate the people. This Power has been behind every war at least since the French Revolution including all wars in the 20th century. This Power profits from both sides of every conflict. WWI and WWII were manufactured and both were instances of false flag schemes. The sinking of the Lusitania was set up, as was Pearl Harbor. Both the Viet Nam War and Desert Storm were about oil. Now, let's consider the Democrats and the Republicans. They are both puppets for the Money Power. They are engaged in elaborate Kabuki Theater. Both contribute to the problems that will eventually enslave, and or destroy us little people. When one chooses between two evils, he is driven further into the evil that he chooses. In other words he/she is a dupe of the Power that is actually orchestrating the show. It is important to remember that there are two sides to every issue, or dialectic...and then there is the Truth. I scorn both parties, because ultimately they are taking us to the same place, while the little people are too involved in the drama to figure out what is really going on, and that is to their detriment. When thinking about the Money Power, I am reminded of the Stones' song 'Sympathy for the Devil'. Of all people, Jagger was closer to knowing what has been, and is going on throughout history than most are. The problem is both bigger and more subtle than you can imagine. It is NOT political, so wise up and quit wasting your time with political nonsense. The Money Power is apolitical and non-nationalistic. It wants to control the entire world and everybody in it. If you think that they are the least bit concerned about humanitarianism, you are doubly duped. That is a charade for their useful idiots. When they get the world under their thumb, and they will, they will take off the mask and the horror show will begin. Wouldn't it be cute if 'Sympathy for the Devil' started playing in some supernatural way so that everyone in the world could hear it at the same time...when everyone finally realizes what is happening?

  3. Quote from Woodrow Wilson..."Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men's views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men of the U.S. in the field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of somebody, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it".

  4. A better name for the Global Money Power is the Super-Capitalists (S/C for short). Their goal, as said before, is to control (capitalize upon) all of the earth's resources and all of mankind (labor). Ever wonder why so many extremely wealthy capitalists are sympathetic and even supportive of socialism/Marxism? It has nothing to do with humanitarianism. The S/C. were the fabricators and promulgators of socialism/Marxism, but not for 'social justice'. That is a ruse. Their main use of Marxism is to re-distribute the money of the producers in a free, capitalist society thereby weakening the economy. No one will get a penny of their money. Another ploy is in regard to Marxist egalitarianism which gears a society to the lowest common denominator. Their goal is to eventually eliminate the middle class and the lower level capitalists and to mold the masses into a dumbed down, non-competitive bunch that will someday make compliant serfs for themselves. The delicious irony in this is that their Marxist/progressive dupes believe that they are ridding the world of the evils of capitalism, but are in fact working to make capitalism absolute under their control. Remember, the S/C are NOT Marxists...they are Super Capitalists. As an aside, you are aware that under Soviet Communism the members of the Communist Party lived in opulence while the masses lived in poverty? What is wrong with that picture? It seems that egalitarianism was for the 'little people'. Here is another irony that seems to have slipped notice. If America was so concerned about the spread of Communism (the Domino Theory) why did they not eliminate a virulent strain of Communism ninety miles from our shores which spread itself throughout Central and South America? First of all, the S/C has controlled America at least since the Wilson administration and actually even before that. Dupes believe that conservatives and the Republicans are the fly in the ointment. There are two main reasons why America left Cuba alone. One is that Cuba could have been decimated in a day...very little payoff for the S/C which always profits off of both sides of every war. The Viet Nam War was much more lucrative. Ever wonder why our politicians allowed it to drag on and on? Another reason is that the S/C wanted to control the oil off of the coast of Viet Nam and a united Viet Nam would make that easier. They really didn't care which side won as long as the country was unified so that they could get to the oil. The scams are practically endless and the mind-bowing thing about all that is that progressives blame 1)capitalism, of which the S/C are the masters, 2)the conservatives and the Republicans. This diversion frees them to continue their ruse. As long as America is consumed with the Donkeys vs the Elephants game, attention is diverted from them. They are (evil) geniuses. And, they are on the verge of attaining their goals. Nothing at this point is going to stop them. Why not stop this charade and start educating people about the real threat? The Republicans are to blame? What a laugh. The Dems and the Repubs both are puppets for the S/C...nothing but good cop/bad cop theater.

  6. "History records that money changers have used every form of abuse, intrigue, deceit, and violent means possible to maintain their control over governments by controlling money and it's issuance" James Madison
"The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the large centers has owned the government since the days of Andrew Jackson" F.D.R in a letter to his chief advisor, Col Mandell House, dated Nov. 21, 1933.
" I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country (after passage of the Federal Reserve Act). A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated (in the hands of the Money Power). The growth of the nation, therefore, and ALL of its activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated governments in the civilized world. No longer a government by free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men (the Money Power)
"Let me issue and control a nation's money and I care not who writes the laws". Meyer Amschel Rothschild
The Rothschild network and the Rockefeller network are at the top of the global Money/Power pyramid.
Why not educate your readers as to the nature of the true problem rather than to perpetuate the Donkeys vs the Elephants charade?

    ... okay...

THE THEORY AND PRACTICE OF OLIGARCHICAL COLLECTIVISM

    Chapter I
    Ignorance is Strength

Throughout recorded time, and probably since the end of the Neolithic Age, there have been three kinds of people in the world, the High, the Middle, and the Low. They have been subdivided in many ways, they have borne countless different names, and their relative numbers, as well as their attitude towards one another, have varied from age to age: but the essential structure of society has never altered. Even after enormous upheavals and seemingly irrevocable changes, the same pattern has always reasserted itself, just as a gyroscope will always return to equilibrium, however far it is pushed one way or the other.

The aims of these three groups are entirely irreconcilable. The aim of the High is to remain where they are. The aim of the Middle is to change places with the High. The aim of the Low, when they have an aim -- for it is an abiding characteristic of the Low that they are too much crushed by drudgery to be more than intermittently conscious of anything outside their daily lives -- is to abolish all distinctions and create a society in which all men shall be equal. Thus throughout history a struggle which is the same in its main outlines recurs over and over again. For long periods the High seem to be securely in power, but sooner or later there always comes a moment when they lose either their belief in themselves or their capacity to govern efficiently, or both. They are then overthrown by the Middle, who enlist the Low on their side by pretending to them that they are fighting for liberty and justice. As soon as they have reached their objective, the Middle thrust the Low back into their old position of servitude, and themselves become the High. Presently a new Middle group splits off from one of the other groups, or from both of them, and the struggle begins over again. Of the three groups, only the Low are never even temporarily successful in achieving their aims. It would be an exaggeration to say that throughout history there has been no progress of a material kind. Even today, in a period of decline, the average human being is physically better off than he was a few centuries ago. But no advance in wealth, no softening of manners, no reform or revolution has ever brought human equality a millimetre nearer. From the point of view of the Low, no historic change has ever meant much more than a change in the name of their masters.

Hey, Gerry, how do you like me so far? :D :D :D

By the late nineteenth century the recurrences of this pattern had become obvious to many observers. There then arose schools of thinkers who interpreted history as a cyclical process and claimed to show that inequality was the unalterable law of human life. This doctrine, of course, had always had its adherents, but in the manner in which it was now put forward there was a significant change. In the past the need for a hierarchical form of society had been the doctrine specifically of the High. It had been preached by kings and aristocrats and by the priests, lawyers, and the like who were parasitical upon them, and it had generally been softened by promises of compensation in an imaginary world beyond the grave. The Middle, so long as it was struggling for power, had always made use of such terms as freedom, justice and fraternity. Now, however, the concept of human brotherhood began to be assailed by people who were not yet in positions of command, but merely hoped to be so before long. In the past the Middle had made revolutions under the banner of equality, and then had established a fresh tyranny as soon as the old ones were overthrown. The new Middle groups in effect proclaimed their tyranny beforehand. The new movements, of course, grew out of the old ones and tended to keep their names and pay lip-service to their ideology. But the purpose of all of them was to arrest progress and freeze history at a chosen moment. The familiar pendulum swing was to happen once more, and then stop. As usual, the High were to be turned out by the Middle, who would then become the High; but this time, by conscious strategy, the High would be able to maintain their position permanently.

The new "spectacular" doctrines arose partly because of the accumulation of historical knowledge, and the growth of the historical sense, which had hardly existed before the nineteenth century. The cyclical movement of history was now intelligible, or appeared to be so; and if it was intelligible, then it was alterable. But the principal, underlying cause was that, as early as the beginning of the twentieth century, human equality had become technically possible. It was still true that people were not equal in their native talents and that functions had to be specialized in ways that favored some individuals against others; but there was no longer any real need for class distinctions or for large differences of wealth. In earlier ages, class distinctions had been not only inevitable but desirable. Inequality was the price of civilization. With the development of machine production, however, the case was altered. Even if it were still necessary for human beings to do different kinds of work, it was no longer necessary for them to live at different social or economic levels. Therefore, from the point of view of the new groups that were on the point of seizing power, human equality was no longer an ideal to be striven after, but a danger to be averted. And so the idea of earthly paradise -- which had haunted the human imagination for thousands of years -- came into discredit at exactly the moment when it became realizable. Every new political theory, by whatever name it called itself, led back to hierarchy and regimentation.

  9. No Fair! You are a genius with whom I cannot compete. I have decided to join the ranks of the egalitarians in the hope of dumbing you down. When your I.Q. has been decimated, maybe I can compete with you. Now to the issue. The Money Power seems impervious to your thesis. The Low are not bright enough to acquire stupendous wealth and the Middle do are not equipped to unseat them, because they also lack the means. It is tough to fight against a foe that owns and controls everything. The M/P (when I speak of the M/P, I am not referring to a wealthy class, but to a smaller cadre of monumental wealth that stands above and behind all classes) sees them coming and pulls the rug out from underneath them. Regardless of class, those who have the gold make the rules and kill everyone who encroaches upon them. It seems the M/P persists despite revolution. In fact, they are the ones who start them. Explain how the Money Power can be unseated, or even thwarted over the long run, seeing as how they control governments, media, economies, education, etc., etc. I will admit that you are brighter than I am. I am humblely asking you for enlightenment. In short, how does your class struggle thesis apply to the Money Power? They seem to be impervious to being unseated. There may have been a chance at one time, but I don't see how they can be stopped now that they run the entire world.

  10. We may be talking about two different things. I intentionally left out a spiritual dimension in regard to the Money Power that explains its continuity over time and its imperviousness to being unseated. I don't want to open that can of worms. I feel sure that you will agree. I only say that, because it may limit our discourse. Setting that aside, I am still interested in what you have to say. I respect your intellect.

  11. Emmanuel, you seem to be saying that the classes, High, Middle, and Low remain static over time, with the exception of the episodic flux between the High and the Middle. Is this a way of saying that the faces change over time but the people don't? Sort of a de facto caste system built into the nature of things? I am saying that there is a fourth element above and behind the three classes which have surreptitiously driven the dynamics throughout history. The goal of that fourth element is to eventually own the earth and its resources and to enslave mankind. The various classes are merely the puppets, which is why I said that politics is a charade for those who don't understand the bigger picture. Are we two ships passing in the night or is there common ground?
